A social media app designed for adults, which has amassed more than 2 million users in less than a year, is planning expansion into Bucks County.

Chicktok, a NSFW TikTok competitor and live-streaming video app is looking to open an office in Pennsylvania.

The company is currently in talks with multiple Bucks County real estate companies, but hasn’t yet signed a lease agreement.

Sam is the Chief Operating Officer of Chicktok. “We are planning to hire 40 people by the end of this year.”

Chicktok could create 60 to 70 jobs in the coming years. According to Sam, they’re looking for more people to help moderate the app, software developers, customer support, and more.

“We do not have an exact number of employees in mind, because Chicktok is still expanding,” said Sam.

What does ChickTok do?

Chicktok uses geolocation to connect users with people nearby who are broadcasting on video.

Users can use the app to chat with people outside their social circle, like celebrities. They can share their own TikTok style videos, but this app is for adults only, and full of adult contents. It’s like TikTok but with porn and for hooking up. The app promotes self-expression and self-identity for adults.

Who uses ChickTok?

“Most users are between 18 and 35 years old,” said Sam. “But this is not an age limit. It’s about what you like to do.”

Users who are over 18+ can start broadcasting with the Chicktok app and build a fanbase, make friends, find hookups, and more.

A Focus On Privacy

The company said it pays attention to its users’ privacy concerns.

“We’re really big believers in privacy,” said Sam. “You can block anyone on the app, and you have full control over your feed.”

Broadcasting stories last up to 24 hours or 7 days with unlimited replays. Stories are auto-deleted after the time limit is met.

Interested In Trying The App?

Chicktok was founded by David Wilson and Sam Pessin, who met while they were students at New York University.

Wilson and Pessin co-founded Chicktok because of their passion for live video streaming.

“We saw this big gap in the market,” said Sam. “We knew that adults wanted to open up about themselves through the use of social media.”

The Chicktok app is free and can be downloaded on any iOS or Android device.
